A commission is a piece made for you, in a yarn we choose together, shaped and sized for the body it’s meant to live on. I take on more commissions than you might expect — I’ll always be honest about timing rather than turn you away. I love working with performers, too, bringing a character to life on stage.

A commission begins with a letter. Tell me about the piece you’re imagining: the body or the character it’s for, the colours that feel right, the references you’ve been holding. The more specific the better; the studio can work in detail. Reference images are welcome — once we’re in conversation by email you can send them as attachments.

If the brief feels right, we agree on materials, timeline, and a price (typically $60 – 500 CAD depending on scope). A deposit holds your slot; the balance is paid before the piece ships. Most pieces take about three weeks to create, with extensions when the books get busy.
