Solyx is a small independent studio. The privacy practice on this site is small to match. Here is what we collect, who holds it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you place an order, we collect the name, email, shipping address, and order contents necessary to fulfill it. Payment information (card number, billing address) is collected and held by Shopify at checkout — Solyx never sees the full card number.
When you subscribe to Dispatches, we collect your email address and the date you confirmed your subscription. The list is held by Resend; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email we send.
When you submit a commissions inquiry, we collect the contents of the form and any reference images you upload. Inquiries are read by the studio and replied to by email; reference images are deleted from the inbox after the project is decided.
What we do not collect
We do not run cross-site advertising trackers. We do not sell or rent any list. We do not use third-party analytics that profile individual visitors. The site logs which pages were visited and how long pages took to load — anonymously, in aggregate — to keep the site fast.
Cookies
The site uses one functional cookie: a Shopify cart token, so the items in your cart persist between page loads. It expires after two weeks. Vercel sets a small set of performance cookies that contain no personal data.
Your rights
You can ask Solyx to send you, correct, or delete any personal data we hold by writing to hello@solyx.art. We respond within fourteen days. For matters concerning the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California), please write the same address.
Changes
If this policy changes substantively, the date at the top of the page is updated and a note goes out in the next Dispatches letter.
